The Blackhawk Cup rankings for the combined divsions were released on Saturday night and Glenbard Hockey received a lot of respect from voters. 

For the 2nd year in a row, Varsity nailed down the #3 seed for the tournament.  They open against the team that knocked them out of the tournament last year in the Final Four, #14 Maine.  Rockford received the #1 seed and are going for their 14th straight State Championship.  Waubsonie is #2 and Conant is #4, to round out the top seeds in the tournament.

JV moved up a few spots from last year, as they received the #6 seed in the tournament.  They also open against Maine, as they are ranked #11 in the JV tournament.  The top 4 seeds went to #1 Rockford, #2 PREP, #3 Conant, and #4 Burlington Central. 

So it's a Glenbard vs. Maine double-header in the 1st round of Blackhawk Cup.  Schedule will be posted as soon as we are notified.
